Menu bar options
File tab provides various options like
Home - Takes to the job creation page which is the home page for the project
Save As – Used to create a new version of the project. Where we can copy only the plans or assemblies or both and create a new revision also.
Custom material report – The Custom Material Report automatically generates when a new material is added or when an existing material’s price is overwritten during assembly creation.
Compare – Used to compare the versions created.
Export Pdf – Exports the pages
Bidding List – Takes to the bidding list as discussed in the job creation panel
Email, Quote, Activity – Takes to the job creation tab in the take-off tab

Highlight – Plans can be highlighted. Color can be changed with the option available at the top right corner

Text Area – Text can be created. Click on the Text area and draw the area where the text to be included and type the text

· Click on the text area
· Select the area where the text to be displayed
· Type the text
· Text height and color can be altered with the option available at the top right corner.
Call out – Call out option is available and can be used to make a remark

· Click on call out
· Click on the area in the plan
· Double click to insert text
· Text height and color can be changed from the option available at the top right corner.
4.Cloud - Cloud option is available. This is used to highlight some portion that is to be used example – Finish schedule or any legend.

· Click on cloud
· Click on the area in the plan
· Color can be changed from the option available at the top right corner.
5. Legend – This displays the measurement drawn in the plan
6. Dimension – Used to measure the dimension. Just click and drag to the second point to get the dimension

7.Comment - Clicking on comment and then selecting the point where the comment to be placed opens a comment box where the comments to be mentioned.
· Type the comment
· Click post button
· Click close to close the box.


8. Image - In BLDON, images can be imported for various purposes, including performing takeoffs. You can upload images such as project plans, blueprints, CAD drawings, or other visual documents directly onto the platform.
· Click on Image
· Select the image from the drive or computer
· Click ok and click on the page where it is to be placed
9. Place bookmark- In BLDON, you can place bookmarks to easily navigate and reference important sections or details within your project documents, plans, or job files.
· Bookmarks created can be placed in the job
· Click and select the bookmark and click add to insert in the plan, Color can be changed from the option available at the top right corner

10. Stamps – Stamps created can be inserted in this command. Creation of stamps will be explained in the Estimate calculation section.
11. Run OCR - In BLDON, you can Run OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract text from PDFs. This is used to add the corresponding page number to the pages.
· Click Run OCR
· Click and scan the page number
· Pop up menu appears stating to run OCR to current, Missed or All pages
· Select the requirement and click save.
· The page numbers will be displayed in the plans panel.

12. Copy & Cut – This option is used to copy and cut the measurements.
· Select the measurement
· Click copy or cut
· Paste in the required
Save – This option allows us to save the current version of the job we are working with. Just click on the save button to save.
Estimate – This option is used to display the measurements created in the plans. It sums up the estimate and displays. Just click on to estimate and it will display the estimate sheet.
Calibrate – This option lets us create a predefined scale or a custom scale.


· Click calibrate ---> Scale input
· List of predefined scale appears from which scale can be selected
· To Calibrate a custom scale click calibrate ---> Calibrate scale
· Select any two points of known dimension and enter the details as shown below and the scale is applied.

• Alternatively scale option in the bottom right corner can be used to set a predefined scale

· Click scale from the bottom right corner
· Scale calibrate box appears
· Select the scale and click on the set icon and the scale will be set.
