Task Management

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up the Task management module, starting with the required Task Workflow status configuration.

Prerequisite: Task Workflow Setup

By default, the system provides a few basic form statuses under the workflow named Task WORKFLOW. You can edit these existing statuses or add your own as needed.

These statuses will later be used in the Task module, so make sure they are properly configured before you start creating forms.

Configure Form Statuses

The Module workflow Setup section contains form status config:

Open Module Workflow

1. From the left-hand App Launcher, click Setup.

2. Navigate to Customized Fields → Module Workflows.

3. In the list, locate and select Task WORKFLOW.

4. A popup window will open, showing all existing form statuses in different stages.

Add a New Status

1. In the Task WORKFLOW popup, click Add Status.

2. An Add Status form will open

3. Fill in the following details:

· Status Name – Name of the status (e.g., Draft, Submitted, Approved).

· Description – Short description or purpose of this status.

· Status Colour – Select a colour to visually identify this status.

4. Click Save to add the new status.

Reorder Statuses

You can control the sequence in which statuses appear in the form.

In the Task WORKFLOW popup, click the Reorder button.

In the Reorder Status view:

· Use drag and drop to move statuses up or down.

· Arrange them in the desired order of progression (e.g., Draft → Submitted → Under Review → Approved).

Save the new order.

Note:

· The sequence you set here determines the order in which statuses will appear in the Task Management.

Once these prerequisites are configured, proceed with the Task Management
