Project Management - Setup
Define Status for Project Management
Each submodule under Project Management can have its own status list. You can add, edit, or delete statuses as per your process
1. Open the Setup module.

2. Go to Customized Fields.
3. Click Define Status Fields.
4. Select:
a. Module: Project Management
b. Submodule: Choose required submodule (Project, Punchlist, RFI, Change Order, etc.)
c. Status: Existing status list will be displayed.
Auto-Generate Project Code (ID Auto-Population)
Automatically create a unique and consistent Project Code for every new project based on your preset ID format. This saves time, avoids manual errors, and keeps all projects organized with a standard code structure.

Go to Customize ID under Setup.
Select the following options:
Module: Project Management
Submodule: Project
Choose the desired ID Fields (for example:
#PIC).Click Save.
Once saved, the system triggers an API that automatically generates the Project Code when a new project is created.
Configuring Workflow Status for Project Management Tasks
Set up workflow statuses to define how tasks move from one stage to the next. By configuring statuses, you create a clear task progression, improve tracking, and ensure every project follows a consistent workflow from start to finish.
Follow the steps below to set up workflow statuses for Project Management tasks.
Open Module Workflow.
Select Project Workflow.
Click Add Status to create new workflow stages.
Save the workflow.



The same workflow configuration process applies to all Project Management submodules, including:
Punchlist Workflow
RFI Workflow
Change Order Workflow
Master Change Order Workflow
MyTodo
Team Todo
Define Release Numbers (Used in Project Release Details)
Ensure that Release Numbers are available in the dropdown when creating Project Release Details within Project Management.
Follow the steps below


Steps
In Setup, click Project Management.
Select Define Release No.
Click Create to add a new Release Number.
Enter the following details:
Name
Description
Click Create to save.
Configuring Folders for Project Document Management
Set up standardized folders to organize all project-related documents. This ensures easy access, consistent structure, and better control over files throughout the project lifecycle.
Go to Setup, open Project Management, and select “Customize Your Folders for Project Document Management.”


Go to Project Management under Setup.
Click Customize Your Folders for Project Document Management.
Click Add.
Enter the folder details:
Name
Description
Click Submit to save.
