Contact

In this article, you'll learn how to navigate and use the Contact submodule in the CRM module.

Step 1: Navigate to the Contact submodule by clicking the drop-down in the top left corner. Then, select Contact.

Step 2: On the main page of the submodule, you'll see a list of all open contacts. To search for a specific contact, use the search bar located underneath the contact title.

Step 3: At the top right, you'll find four options: Filter, Export, Import, and Create. Click the Filter button to filter contacts by any category.

Step 4: To export the list of contacts, click the Export button.

Step 5: To import contacts, click the Import button. You can download a template for importing contacts by clicking the button next to the Download template button. Upload a file by clicking on Select File or clicking on the large box.

Step 6: To delete a contact, click the trash can icon next to the contact you want to delete. Confirm your decision by clicking the OK button or cancel by clicking the Cancel button.

Step 7: To open an existing contact, click the name of the contact.

Step 8: In the center of this page, you'll find four tabs: Activity, Engage, Details, and News. Under the Activity tab, you can create a new task, log a call, or send an email.

Step 9: To create a New Task, fill in the required information and click the Create button. To Log a Call, fill in the required information and click the blue Save button. To send an Email, fill in the required information and click the Send button.

Step 10: Under the Engage tab, you can post a comment. Type your comment in the text box and click the blue Comment button.

Step 11: Under the Details tab, you can view and edit the details of the contact. To edit, click the blue Edit button, make your changes, and click the Update button. If you want to cancel your edits, click the Cancel button.

Step 12: Under the News tab, you'll find the latest news, sports news, and weather.

Step 13: On the right side of the page, you'll see the opportunities associated with the contact. To open an opportunity, click its name.

Step 14: To return to the main page of the Contact submodule, click the drop-down in the top left corner and select Contact.
